Gershon Rennert was an Israeli painter. 
Born in 1929, Mannheim, Germany 
Died in 2009, Tel Aviv, Israel.

Rennert works in series. Each series marks a change in the direction of interest, as well as a change in style. Preferring soft and bright colors, his works are mixture of figurative and abstract, angular and circular, real and surreal. In his works there is criticism of his surroundings and at the same time a feeling of mercy and acceptance.

Aside from many solo exhibitions in art galleries in Israel and Germany, he has participated in group exhibitions.
