Yigal Ozeri is an Israeli artist.
Born in 1958, Tel Aviv, Israel.
Lives and works in New York City.
Ozeri has developed a unique style of Photorealist figurative painting over the last 30 years. He creates large-scale portraits of young women in sublime landscapes. These works led to Ozeri gaining recognition and fame.
This work is exceptional in Ozeri's work of recent years. It is a sketch in colors, primary, unrefined, where the stroke momentum is maintained and the color stain has a presence. Drawing whose intensity derives from being pure.
Ozeri has exhibited internationally and his paintings are held in many prestigious collections worldwide.
In Israel he exhibited three solo exhibitions (Haifa Museum 1994, Tel Aviv Museum 1997 and 2005).
