Shuli Bar Navon (1959) creates direct and full-blown paintings, whose inner strength is disturbing and gives no rest. The figures she draws range from tragic to grotesque. People often resemble animals, and these seem to human beings. For a moment we seem to be witnessing a sort of parade from the "theater of life" where laughter and weeping are mixed together into the "joy of the sadness of life".

Shuli Bar Navon participated in group exhibitions and exhibited numerous solo exhibitions.

Shuli Bar Navon won the Young Artist Award from the Ministry of Education and Culture in 1991.
