Shuli Bar Navon's new works look like a night puppet theater created by the remains of the sane, enlightened day that has now become a shadow army living behind the scenes after the lights went out and the spectators returned to their homes.

These are beautiful and expressive collage works. Perhaps the word collage is not accurate and does not contain the entire work of Bar Navon. We have before us an act of a combination of cutting and gluing and drawing and painting. Act that reached perfection in the right dosage between the material and the poetic.
